Alloy 280 Bronze Rectangular Tubing (UNS C28000), often referred to as Muntz Metal, is a copper-zinc alloy containing approximately 60% copper and 40% zinc. It offers higher strength compared to higher-copper brasses and performs well in structural applications. The rectangular tubing profile provides flat surfaces for secure fastening and clean alignment in framed assemblies. Its geometry supports directional strength and rigidity while maintaining fabrication flexibility.
